A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (well, not that far actually), Zen Studios adaptation of the Star Wars franchise has blasted players with a wonderfully impressive spectacle of both space and pinball madness. With the fan base already being quite huge, it should be a no brainer for the developer to capture this opportunity. This most recently released DLC, Balance of the Force, consists of three new tables as well as a few more achievements and trophies for the PlayStation 3, Vita and Xbox 360.

Darth Vader

The infamous villain of the Star Wars franchise is featured in this fantastic-looking table. While there aren’t many ramps at first glance, there’s still a lot to unravel as you will be assembling Darth Vader by directing the ball onto the robotic arms. Various battles are featured throughout the table’s gameplay, including the lightsaber duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

This particular pinball table has Endor written all over it as you see the colorful displays of the Empire base. There are a whole lot of ramps, obstacles, and paths that will put players to the test and afford them the opportunity to lock as well as lose balls. Additionally, a number of recognizable and memorable scenes from the movie will leave quite an impression.

Starfighter Assault

You can choose to play as either the Rebel Alliance X-Wing pilot or the Imperial Tie-Fighter. Your choice will determine the side from which the ball gets launched. There’s a lot of interactivity for this table as there are plenty of upgrades for your space crafts and turrets. It’s never a dull moment as you’ll occasionally see action sequences of the X-Wings and Tie-Fighters as they duke it out through the playing field.

Priced at $9.99, you can include Balance of the Force to your existing library within your Xbox 360 or even get these three tables available as a cross-buy for both the PlayStation 3 and Vita. Whether you’re a fan of Star Wars or just a pinball enthusiast, this DLC will do more than just bring “balance to the force.”
